The role of a Training Specialist is to deliver engaging and inspiring theoretical and practical training, enhancing the skills and knowledge of spa professionals. As a professional Training Specialist, your role is to ensure that industry professionals deliver high-quality ELEMIS services and product recommendations. This role aims to support business goals, brand awareness, and treatment and product sales.
This role will be expected to train in a variety of methods both online and in person. In addition, as a Training Specialist, you will also be asked to represent the brand at events. This is a field-based role which means you will travel extensively to spas and salons across the South West. Locations include: Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver best in class education:
- As a member of the training team, you work collaboratively to elevate the standard of Elemis treatments and Spa experience.
- Represent the Brand to a high standard in all work situations.
- Is competent in delivering all ELEMIS core curriculum, both theoretical and practical, both in person and digitally via streaming.
- Is competent to set up and deliver on-site training at key accounts.
- Can adapt to the training needs and identify areas for skill development, recommending a bespoke training pathway.
- Provide hands-on training for Elemis spa services, including skincare, massage techniques, and other related services.
- Competent to instruct on the use of specialised equipment.
- Evaluate and assess the level of competency of the Spa therapist to attain certification.
- Provide constructive feedback to spa professionals to support their continuous improvement.
- Reach the level of a PRO Elemis Master in your own training.
- Can confidently educate on the features and benefits of all Elemis product franchises, ensuring that the learners are competent in prescribing and retailing ELEMIS products.
- Educate learners on the use and benefits of all Elemis professional only products, ensuring they are competent in their use within an ELEMIS treatment.
- Has a depth of product knowledge sufficient to the audience needs to be directed by The Head of Education.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product launches to incorporate relevant information into training programs.
- Deliver training on excellent customer service, client communication, and maintaining a positive client experience.
- Emphasise client engagement and satisfaction during training sessions.
- Create a 5-star level of training and memorable experiences for our learners.
- Beauty Therapy qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, including facial and body electrical.
- CIDESCO qualification highly desirable.
- Passionate about the beauty and spa industry.
- Teacher training qualification highly desirable.
- Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent.
- Training experience within the beauty industry desirable.
- General computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Adaptable to the diverse learning styles of spa and beauty professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of beauty and spa services, products, and industry trends.
- Ability to demonstrate and teach practical spa and beauty services.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the spa and beauty industry.
