Responsibilities & Objectives
The Account Executive is a key role in revenue generation by managing existing clients, developing new business, and supporting enterprise sales cycles.
What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a territory of large enterprise process manufacturing prospects to achieve revenue and growth goals
- Run full sales cycles for opportunities driving ARR greater than $75,000
- Execute company designed and personally developed prospecting campaigns to open new avenues of conversation and engagement
- Collaborate with broader team on larger enterprise contributing to network growth, discovery, solution mapping, and proposal development
- Use AI-enabled tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism) for account research and territory development
- Apply Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Gong/Chorus AI, and Tableau to analyze pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and account potential
- Draft and personalize messaging and proposals with ChatGPT or Jasper AI to scale client engagement
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with leadership, leveraging AI-assisted insights to highlight performance and identify upsell opportunities across network
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline updates in Salesforce CRM
- Partner cross-functionally with senior leadership, marketing, presales, and product teams to ensure new client success
- Travel frequently, not afraid of failure and ready to win
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of experience in large enterprise sales, account management, or 5+ years of business development (preferably SaaS, supply chain, or technology)
- Demonstrated success closing deals and renewals while supporting larger enterprise opportunities
- A sense of urgency and curiosity of our solutions and the problems we solve for the biggest supply chains in the world
- Strong business acumen to find and solve complex customer supply chain and growth problems
- AI-powered mindset to scale our network and prospecting
- Strong account planning and territory management skills
- Ability to run discovery, present solutions, and negotiate contracts at manager/director levels
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field preferred
