Jesson's Church of England Primary School and Elements Diocesan Learning Trust are seeking an exceptional Headteacher to lead our large, diverse and vibrant school into its next phase. Following the retirement of our long‑serving Headteacher, this is a significant opportunity to shape the future of a community that is rich in potential and guided by a strong Christian vision.

With over 700 pupils, a committed staff team and a clear foundation for improvement, Jesson's is ready for a leader who can bring clarity, ambition and a deep commitment to securing the very best for every child. Rooted in the Church of England's Vision for Education and the school's ethos of "Be the best you can be," you will lead with purpose, compassion and conviction.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • take decisive ownership of school improvement and drive rapid, purposeful change
  • elevate the quality of teaching, learning and curriculum across every phase
  • use evidence, data and professional insight to secure sustained progress for all pupils
  • grow capacity, confidence and leadership within a large and diverse staff team
  • communicate with clarity, conviction and a strong sense of direction
  • champion inclusion, belonging and mutual respect across school life
  • uphold, model and deepen Jesson's Christian ethos and values
  • work in strong, solution‑focused partnership with the Trust and Local School Board
  • place safeguarding, integrity and professional responsibility at the heart of leadership

If you are a values‑driven, inspiring leader who thrives in a collaborative Trust family and is ready to make a lasting difference, we would be delighted to receive your application.
