At Elementar UK, a subsidiary of the Elementar Group headquartered in Langenselbold, Germany, we specialise in the sales and marketing, support, and manufacturing of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers (IRMS) systems and related instruments. Our operations are based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, where we focus on R&D and advanced instrument servicing.
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Technician with strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, and a background in testing and validation of scientific instruments, electronics, or complex systems. A relevant manufacturing or engineering degree is desirable but not essential. Acceptable qualifications include A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC National Diploma Level 3 or 4, or an equivalent NVQ Level 3. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of quality management systems and standards are expected. Familiarity with elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, or related fields is a plus.
Your role involves following test protocols to ensure the functionality of our instruments, testing hardware and software components, troubleshooting, and record-keeping to improve products and processes. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.
