We are pleased to present a contract SEND teacher opportunity within a dedicated SEND setting based in Kingston-Upon-Thames, London. This role offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with complex needs, specifically within a Year 1 - Year 4 class environment. Our client is an established Academy-SEND that values skilled educators with a strong background in supporting children with Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored education and support to young learners with complex requirements, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The role is scheduled to commence on 5th January 2026, with ongoing placement until further notice. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers holding QTS or QTLS to join a professional team that prioritises dedication, compassion, and high standards of care and education.
Relevant Experience and Skills
- Relevant experience working with children with PMLD and complex needs
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and safeguarding policies
- The ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Professional registration (QTS / QTLS) and appropriate teaching qualifications
The position offers daily rate compensation between £120 and £200, reflecting experience and the responsibilities involved. The setting boasts a dedicated team of 36-65 staff, committed to providing high-quality education and care for its pupils.
All applications will be managed by Elementa as the recruitment partner for this APl. Elementa is committed to the safeguarding of children in all of their processes and all successful applicants will have a full-prescreen to assess their suitability for the role. Any appointment will be subject to a successful interview process, satisfactory references, Safeguarding & Prevent training, DBS Enhanced Disclosure (which may be chargeable at £64.20 unless you have a DBS subscribed to the Update Service) and successful completion of (12 week / 60 paid day) employment trial period.

- Weekly pay – no waiting for monthly payroll cut off dates, Elementa pays one week in lieu.
- PAYE contract – unless a candidate specifically requests it, all candidates are paid via PAYE giving them the protections and payment structure of a traditional employer: employee relationship.

- Fair pay policy – our candidates are paid to scale, where a variation on this may be required written agreement will be provided ahead of the position.
