Our client, a reputable Academy-SEND educational provider, is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role.
Candidate profile
- Hold QTS or QTLS certification
- Experience delivering Physical Education across a range of abilities
- Demonstrable experience supporting learners with ASD/ASC or additional needs (desirable)
- Passionate about promoting physical activity, well-being, and inclusion
- Strong behaviour management and engagement skills
- Excellent communication and team-working abilities
- Commitment to high standards of care and educational development
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive, engaging PE lessons tailored to individual needs
- Adapt physical activities to ensure accessibility and participation for all pupils
- Promote teamwork, confidence, and physical well-being
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development through structured physical activity
- Work collaboratively with staff to support pupil progress and behaviour
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
