Are you a dedicated and energetic PE Teacher with experience supporting learners with additional needs? Our client, a reputable Academy-SEND educational provider, is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role.
About the role:

- Organisation Size: 66–250 employees, committed to providing outstanding support and education for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder/Condition (ASD/ASC)
Candidate profile:
- Hold QTS or QTLS certification
- Experience delivering Physical Education across a range of abilities
- Demonstrable experience supporting learners with ASD/ASC or additional needs (desirable)
- Passionate about promoting physical activity, well-being, and inclusion
- Strong behaviour management and engagement skills

Key Responsibilities:

Elementa will be managing all applicants and screening their suitability for the school. Elementa are not a supply agency, we are a schools services & recruiting partner to schools. We will manage the candidate vetting & compliance and process your payroll on behalf of the school whilst on trial contract. It's likely that the school will engage the successful candidate on trial contract through Elementa (60 day contract, paid to scale from the outset) to assess suitability and confirm the intention of engagement on permanent contract. Therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting & background checks and application for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (which may be chargeable at £64.20) unless you have a current DBS on the update service.
