Are you a Sports Coach, PE Graduate, Fitness Instructor or someone with experience leading young people? Elementa is looking for enthusiastic, confident individuals to work as Sports Coaches and Cover Supervisors in welcoming primary and secondary schools across Bridgend and surrounding areas.
If you’re passionate about inspiring young people, confident leading groups and thrive in an active environment, we’d love to hear from you. No two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in keeping pupils engaged, motivated and learning by:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Leading PE lessons and sports-based activities where required
- Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and positivity
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Encouraging teamwork, resilience and participation
- Supporting learning across a range of curriculum subjects
- Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of each lesson
No lesson planning or marking required.
We’re interested in hearing from people with backgrounds in:
- Sports Coaching
- PE or Sports Science
- Football, Rugby, Cricket or Multi-Sports Coaching
- Fitness Instruction or Personal Training
- Youth Work
- Outdoor Education
- Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor experience
You’ll also have:
- Confidence leading groups of children or young people
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, energetic and professional attitude
- A calm approach to behaviour management
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
You’ll also need:
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- EWC Registration (or willingness to register)
