Elementa Support Services is pleased to partner with a respected secondary academy to recruit a dedicated Resource Base Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional to play a key role in supporting inclusive education and safeguarding within a vibrant school environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the resource base, ensuring that the learning needs of students with additional needs are met effectively and compassionately. Working closely with teaching staff, the ideal candidate will act as a vital link between students, staff, and other education professionals to promote positive outcomes and a safe, inclusive learning space.
Candidate Profile
Our client is seeking a professional with relevant experience as an HLTA, ideally with a background in pastoral support, safeguarding, or intervention. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Training in Autism and Speech & Language awareness
- Experience working with teaching colleagues to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent listening, mediation, and supervision skills
- Confidence in managing young people and promoting their well-being
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support students within the resource base, fostering a positive, nurturing environment
- Collaborate with teaching staff to share strategies and support student progress
- Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed and maintain a calm, alert presence for students requiring additional support
- Assist in planning interventions and tailored learning initiatives to meet individual needs
- Act as a trusted point of contact for student welfare and parental communication when required
Contract & Recruitment Information
