Elementa Support Services is delighted to support the recruitment for this Education group, 'group OT' role. The group operates out of their headquarters which is based in Weston‑Super‑Mare, North Somerset. They are seeking to appoint a dedicated Group Occupational Therapist on a permanent basis to work across their settings in the immediate North Somerset & Bristol areas; potentially further afield as well. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional with experience in student support to make a meaningful difference within a dynamic educational environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide specialised occupational therapy support to students across diverse and vibrant Alternative Education Provision and Special School settings. You will play a key role in supporting learners' functional independence and well-being, work closely with staff to tailor interventions that promote student achievement & inclusion and manage all learner OT assessments. The role offers the chance to work within a collaborative team in a well-respected organisation of over 150 colleagues.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered Child Occupational Therapist with relevant UK accreditation.
- Experience supporting students within an educational setting, ideally within a school, college, or similar environment.
- Background working as Support Staff or in a similar student engagement role is highly desirable.
- A committed and compassionate professional with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- You should have your own transport and be able to travel between sites and attend required meetings.
