What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
  • Inspire students through creative, interactive, and inclusive teaching
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent learning
  • Create a positive, supportive classroom environment where every learner can succeed
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and deliver outstanding learning experiences
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
  • Has experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting
  • Can teach one or more Humanities subjects confidently
  • Has excellent classroom management skills
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity into every lesson
  • Is passionate about helping young people succeed
  • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is happy to apply for one)
  • Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to register
