Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with welcoming and supportive Welsh-medium secondary schools across Cardiff to recruit enthusiastic, motivated, and fluent Welsh-speaking NQTs across all subject specialisms. Whether you specialise in Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages, Creative Arts, Technology, PE, or any other secondary subject, we’d love to hear from you.

As an NQT, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in your specialist subject in line with the Curriculum for Wales
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and support pupils' progress effectively
- Promote high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, and safeguarding
- Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues and wider school staff
- Engage in professional development and fully participate in school life
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
- Has achieved (or is due to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to apply
- Has excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Is enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
- Is passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential

Elementa is committed to the safeguarding of children in all of its recruitment processes, and all successful applicants will undergo a comprehensive pre-employment screening process to assess suitability.

- EWC registration in the appropriate categories
- DBS Enhanced Disclosure (chargeable at £64.20 unless subscribed to the Update Service)
- Right to work in the UK
