This role is tailored for experienced applicants who have previously worked in a SEND-specific Designated Safeguarding Lead role. Applicants should have prior experience in a similar position and be able to integrate quickly with the current team.

- Previous work experience in a SEND-specific education setting (Alternative Provision/Special School)

Alternative Provision
The role will be run across multiple Devon Alternative Provision and Special School sites, leading and managing all aspects of safeguarding under the guidance of and reporting to the Director of Education. It is a multi-site position across the Elementa Education Group’s regional model.

The role will be run on a temp-to-perm contract requiring a 60-day paid trial before transferring to a permanent contract pending successful appointment after trial.
