Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Pay: £90 - £120 per day

This Learning Support Assistant opportunity is based at a primary school in Harrow, London. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 6 student who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), providing tailored academic, emotional, and behavioural support throughout the school day. You will support the student across all lessons, help with engagement and focus, encourage positive social interactions, and assist with personalised learning and wellbeing activities. You will play a key role in helping the student access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independence.

You will work closely with the school’s SENCo, class teachers, and wider inclusion team to implement agreed support strategies and ensure the student’s individual needs are met effectively. This is a supportive and well-resourced setting, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and collaboration. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and has strong teamwork skills gained from previous school-based or child-support roles.

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent)
