About the Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Resistant Materials (RM) within a secondary or middle school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge in Resistant Materials, including practical workshop-based teaching
  • A clear understanding of health and safety procedures within a DT/workshop environment
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills, working confidently with pupils, colleagues, and parents

Contract & Recruitment Information
