Overview

1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Autism at Elementa Support Services. Location: Weston Super Mare. Start: 01/09/2025. Hours: full-time, 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. Pay: GBP65 – GBP95.33 per day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support for a child with autism, focusing on the child’s safety and physical well-being within the school setting.
  • Support learning activities in collaboration with school staff and maintain positive, inclusive classroom practices.

Details

  • Contract: 12 weeks / 60 days on a trial basis; paid to scale from the outset.
  • Elementa will screen applicants, handle vetting and compliance, and process payroll on behalf of the school.
  • Payroll: PAYE contract through Elementa; no umbrella company arrangements.
  • DBS: An Enhanced DBS disclosure is required (may incur a charge of GBP52) unless you already have a current DBS on the update service.
