About the Role
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and progress
- Assist pupils with additional learning needs, social development, and emotional wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with students and help create an inclusive learning environment
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task
- Gain experience managing classroom behaviour and supporting positive learning attitudes
- Develop an understanding of the curriculum and day-to-day school life
- Work across a variety of schools, year groups, and subject areas

Essential Requirements
- To work in schools in Wales, successful candidates must:
- Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as a Learning Support Worker or School Learning Support Worker (support available if you need to register)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one through Elementa Support Services
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
