Location: Fishponds, Bristol

Start date: June 1st 2026

Type: Temp-to-perm

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only

Salary: £15.90 - £17.88ph during trial (£20,000 - £22,600pa perm equivalent) - experience dependent

Our new independent special school for primary-aged learners (KS1, KS2 + Yr7) opened in September 2024 in the Fishponds area of Bristol and we're continuing to recruit to our staff team. Elmtree Grove School opened based on the successes of learner outcomes at our 10 Elmtree Learning Partnership sites since 2022 www.elmtree-learning.org.uk. We currently support 28 learners with a view to gradually increasing learner capacity in the future. All of the learners we support are vulnerable and have an EHCP to define their additional needs or an EHCP in progress. Creativity, perseverance and an empathetic approach when working with them is key to engaging them in education and ensuring their progression.

Responsibilities
