Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) across all subject specialisms to work with schools throughout
Swansea .
We're looking for enthusiastic new teachers who are ready to inspire pupils, develop their classroom confidence and gain valuable experience.
Whether you want the consistency of a long-term placement or the flexibility to experience a variety of schools, we'll help you find opportunities that match your goals.
Whatever your specialism, we want to hear from you!
English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, Languages, Business, ICT, Technology, Creative Arts and more are all welcome.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialism.
- Bring energy, creativity and enthusiasm into the classroom.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
- Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to support different learning needs.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to school life.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or due to achieve QTS.
- A relevant degree and teacher training qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of the relevant curriculum.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm and a genuine desire to help young people succeed.
- A positive, flexible and professional approach.
- EWC registration, or willingness to register.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new application.
Desirable
- Ability to speak Welsh β beneficial but not essential.
- Experience gained through teaching placements in primary, secondary, ALN or other education settings.
- An eagerness to continue learning and developing as a teacher.
