Elementa Support Services is working with a range of supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools to recruit enthusiastic and committed Teachers of English. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ academic progress and confidence in communication.
As a Teacher of English, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
- Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and attainment
- Contribute to wider school life and departmental development
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
- Is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring a love of reading and writing
- Has strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Is adaptable, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive educational practice
- Is willing to engage in ongoing professional development

- DBS Enhanced Disclosure (chargeable at £64.20 unless subscribed to the Update Service)
- Successful completion of the 60-day paid trial period
