Elementa is working with a number of secondary schools across North Somerset to recruit passionate and dedicated Maths Teachers for a range of permanent and long-term positions.

You'll have the opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with some roles also offering Key Stage 5 teaching.

We work with a variety of schools, from well-established community schools to academies, each offering supportive leadership teams, collaborative Maths departments and excellent opportunities for professional development.

The Role

  • Teach engaging and well-planned Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools).
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
  • Assess, monitor and support student progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing success of the Maths department and wider school community.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A passion for mathematics and inspiring young people.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
