Warringtonfire, part of Element has an opportunity for aFIRAS Inspector to join our growing team covering the London / South East region. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global Testing, Inspection and Certification business.

Responsibilities

You will be conducting and organising:

  • Applicant installer companies
  • Sampled Site Inspections
  • Competency assessments of supervisors, technicians and operatives employed by FIRAS certified companies
  • Document, Report and outcome of findings from client visits
  • Ensuring all clients and enquirers receive sound technical advice in regards to scheme Rules and Regulations

Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience at a technical level in passive fire protection either with a contractor, product manufacturer or testing and approval body
  • Ability to work in a customer-facing role
  • Previous exposure to any of the following; structural steel boarding, fire rated ducting, glazing, partition systems, penetration, roller shutter doors, cementitious spray, fire doors, cavity barriers, intumscent paint
  • Knowledge of MS Office Products (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) and mobile / laptop devices
  • Good general education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • On-site inspection experience
  • Be able to prioritise, organise and coordinate your workload
  • This is a work from home contract
  • Ideally based in London / South East surrounding areas
  • Clean driving license and full UK passport
