We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing, fast‑paced business based in central Bristol. It’s a great opportunity for someone who’s confident working across a range of finance responsibilities and can hit the ground running in a busy environment. The role could be offered on a permanent or Temp to Perm basis, depending on what works best for both sides. You’ll be involved in supporting the day‑to‑day finance operations while also providing insight to the Finance Director, to help drive the business forward. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who can work autonomously and thrive in a value‑adding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles
- Partnering with stakeholders to provide insight and support decision‑making
- Assisting with process improvements and financial controls
- Ad hoc analysis and project support to the FD as required
Your Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong management accounting experience within a commercial environment
- Excellent Excel and financial systems skills
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
