Element Recruitment are partnering with a product driven, owner managed business who are currently undertaking a significant period of change following a key appointment. This is an ideal role for an AI-ready, forward thinking accountant to join a dynamic finance team. In this position, you will actively manage day-to-day operational finance while building the commercial relationships that will define your future career growth.
Financial Execution: Oversee core management accounting, including VAT compliance, banking, and audit preparation.
Commercial Evolution: Actively bridge the gap between finance and operations, translating financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Strategic Impact: Produce regular variance reporting packs, attend weekly meetings, and advise the business on key decisions to positively impact financial performance.
What we are looking for: You will be a latter-stage part-qualified or recently qualified accountant with solid management accounting experience (ideally within a product driven environment). You are a confident communicator who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo and influence strategic decision-making. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and some exposure to AI tools within finance are highly desirable.
