The Accounts Technician will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality accountancy services to a varied client portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise within a professional and supportive environment, working closely with senior team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders up to the audit threshold
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns
- Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services
- Submission of statutory documents to Companies House and HMRC on behalf of clients
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
- Providing administrative support to Partners, Managers, and other team members
- Undertaking additional duties and projects as required, consistent with the level of the role
Technical Skills
- Experience preparing accounts for limited companies and unincorporated businesses
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and general accounting principles
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
