A thriving accountancy practice in Exeter is looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their busy team. This is an exciting opportunity for an AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA part-qualified accountant to take on responsibility for client accounts, tax returns, and mentoring junior staff.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Complete income tax returns accurately and on time
- Spot and flag client or technical issues for review
- Support and guide junior team members
- Manage multiple deadlines and workloads effectively
Qualifications/Experience required:
- AAT and/or ACCA qualified / part-qualified
- Practice experience is essential and ideally you’ll be coming from a similar role
- Confident with accounting and tax software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, accurate, and proactive
