Element Recruitment are partnering with a leading Heating Manufacturer on their search for an experienced Customer Service Manager to manage a high-performing office team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Lead, support, and motivate a customer service team of 7 to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and escalated issues promptly and professionally
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer queries, including pricing, deliveries, and account-related enquiries
  • Train and onboard new starters, ensuring they are fully supported and understand company processes
  • Support continuous improvement of customer service processes and office procedures
  • Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets to support reporting, tracking, and administrative functions
  • Process customer orders and debits accurately and within required timeframes
  • Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical
  • Book in received goods and ensure accurate records are maintained
  • Input and manage data across internal systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Place supplier orders and liaise with suppliers as required

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience managing or supervising a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident handling customer complaints and complex queries
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and spreadsheets
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced office environment
  • Experience with order processing, invoicing/debits, and supplier management
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong work ethic
