Overview
I am on the lookout for a talented Private Client Tax Manager to join one of my established practice firms Personal Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from SME business owners to high-net-worth individuals. You'll have the chance to build strong client relationships, provide valuable tax advice, and work closely with experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own portfolio of private clients, with support from senior stakeholders.
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and computations within agreed deadlines.
- Building trusted adviser relationships with clients and delivering exceptional client service.
- Taking ownership of the tax return process, proactively managing workloads and priorities.
- Handling a variety of tax matters, including disclosures, HMRC enquiries, international tax administration, and other ad hoc assignments.
- Supporting the delivery of tax planning and advisory work.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of processes within the tax team.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider business to provide the best outcomes for clients.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in private client or personal tax.
- Confidence managing a client portfolio and working independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
