Element are pleased to be working with a smaller subsidiary of a larger group, to support with the appointment of a Management Accountant into their team. You will be part qualified with a relevant accounting body, or qualified by experience, looking to step into a management accountant role where you can bring value in a group setting, acting as a business partner.
Role & Responsibilities
- Preparation of Monthly management accounts
- Consolidation of group accounts
- VAT Returns
- Budgeting and forecasting with subsequent commentary for senior stakeholders
- Intercompany account reconciliations
- Supervising Bank Accounts
- Assisting the Financial Controller to ensure compliance regulations are adhered to
- Liaising with external auditors
- Ad hoc support of senior members of finance, internally and externally
Key Characteristics
- Part Qualified or QBE with a relevant accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, AAT)
- Strong communicator
- Able to work fluently as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Fluent with Microsoft Office, particularly skilled with Excel
