I'm partnering with a successful and growing organisation based in Bath who are on the lookout for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills further in a supportive and commercially focused environment. In this role, you'll take ownership of key areas of the month-end process while also getting involved in wider business reporting and analysis.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing management accounts with commentary for review
- Supporting with budgeting and reforecasting cycles
- Preparing and posting journals including accruals and prepayments
- Performing monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Analysing variances and providing insight to non-finance stakeholders
- Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting
- Working closely with senior finance and operational teams
What we’re looking for:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Previous experience in a similar management accounting role
- Confident user of Excel - able to manipulate and interpret data
- Comfortable working with different teams across the business
- Ambitious and keen to continue progressing professionally
