Overview: Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department and ensures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician must be proficient in core business skills, including compliance with safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform tests in accordance with applicable radio standards for demonstration of compliance with legislation.
  2. Operate under the supervision of a senior test technician and/or Department Manager as needed.
  3. Interact periodically with customers.
  4. Schedule internal calibration of equipment.
  5. Gather and record test data.
  6. Construct and maintain test fixtures and laboratory equipment to ensure proper working order with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of laboratory safety.
  • A-level, National Diploma, or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic understanding of testing concepts.
  • Computer skills.
