Responsibilities
- Set up, monitor and measure each unique test and record all data onto our database
- Ensure test samples are stored and handled correctly
- Take part in test preparation by cutting, sizing, labelling and affixing samples
- Assist with deliveries, signâin and booking in of samples
Skills / Qualifications
FIRA is the commercial service provider of the Furniture Industry Research Association. We are a unique player in the Testing, Inspection and Certification of products to the furniture industry. This is a great time to join a unique and fastâpaced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, selfâmotivated and a team player. You will:
- Be confident to perform lower to intermediate testing of projects (once trained)
- Educated to a good standard
- Have strong attention to detail, be analytical as well as having good written and verbal skills (can use a computer)
- Prioritise and coordinate a busy workload
- Able to work alone at times and complete testing projects from start to finish
