We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional delivery within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) program — our strategic initiative to unify, modernize, and future-proof laboratory information systems across multiple BUs and regions.
As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating work across different wharves, phases, and solution streams, ensuring timely execution, stakeholder engagement, and successful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Drive end-to-end project delivery across multiple LIMS workstreams (wharves), from planning through execution and scale-up.
- Define and maintain realistic project plans, timelines, and KPIs aligned with the initiative goals.
- Coordinate across technical (Dev, UX, Validation), functional (Lab Analysts, Product Owners), and business stakeholders.
- Lead agile ceremonies and delivery routines (standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, etc.).
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, blockers, and dependencies across solution streams.
- Report progress to initiative leaders and BU sponsors; adapt plans as needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, validation processes (e.g., Part 11, ISO 17025, ISO 27001), and Element’s compliance framework.
- Align deliverables to business priorities and ensure high adoption rates in target labs.
- Support onboarding, training, and change management initiatives in close partnership with the business units.
- Occasional travel to European labs.
- Several years of experience as a Project Manager in IT or equivalent, ideally with exposure to LIMS or regulated lab environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-phase programs or digital transformation projects.
- Solid grasp of SDLC, agile methodologies, and project governance.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendor partners, and remote stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, budget control and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; able to clearly articulate risks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Experience in lab environments (QA, QC, R&D, testing) or the TIC industry.
- Familiarity with system validation (CSV), CFR 21 Part 11 compliance, or similar frameworks.
- Technical understanding of LIMS platforms, system integrations, and client portal tools.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Smartsheet, or MS Project).
