As the Global Digital Marketing Specialist embedded within our Element Connected Technology & Mobility business unit, you will support the planning, execution, and analysis of the digital marketing campaigns across the regional divisions. In partnership with the business unit and cross-functional marketing stakeholders, you will execute multi-channel, multi-touch digital marketing initiatives, including: technical thought leadership content, PPC and display advertising, SEO and SERP, trade media advertising, and email and social channels. Leveraging your expertise in digital marketing, content creation, AI utilisation, and data insights analysis, you will work closely with the business unit stakeholders to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and convert high-value opportunities. In collaboration with the central marketing functions, you will provide monthly assessments and recommendations that drive both tactics, channel and campaign performance improvements.
Core Responsibilities
- In partnership with SMEs and sales, execute high-quality and engaging thought leadership campaigns across key channels to drive business performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and execute new lead generation campaigns, including, but not limited to, email marketing, PPC, events, social media, and website.
- Build relationships with global stakeholders across the organisation, key technical experts, and thought leaders to produce high-quality and engaging content.
- In collaboration with the business unit marketing team, optimise the use of all digital channels to run multi-touch customer nurture campaigns across email, PPC, trade media, LinkedIn outreach, events, and sales enablement efforts.
- Partner with the business stakeholders to translate market trends and competitive intelligence into meaningful and actionable insights that drive growth and innovation.
- Integrate AI-driven tools to generate content variants, optimise communications, and automate the marketing funnel and buyer journey for scale and efficiency.
- In collaboration with the business unit and central marketing functions, measure and report monthly on the performance (including ROI) of all digital marketing tactics and campaigns.
- Utilise reporting data to provide insights into tactics and overall campaign performance for continued optimisation.
- Support building of the annual marketing strategy and corresponding KPI metrics, ensuring they are comprehensive, well rounded and aligned with business objectives.
- Using project management tools (Asana), develop and optimize marketing campaign management to meet key milestones for successful deployment and execution.
- Increase reach and brand awareness through both organic and paid industry associations and publications.
- Lead communication and planning forums, such as launch meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness of marketing calendar initiatives.
- Ensure adherence with brand style guidelines and appropriate editorial governance so content is consistent with our Element brand voice, style, and tone.
- Keep up with the latest marketing/industry tactics and techniques in both conventional and new media opportunities to ensure we harness the latest methods and technologies.
- Work in partnership with other marketing managers, specialists, and coordinators to ensure that key lessons learned are shared and capitalised across all business units.
- Gain business knowledge of Element’s service offerings and ensure that campaign strategies are focused and on-message for customers and target prospects.
Skills / Qualifications
- 3+ years of digital marketing and inbound lead generation experience.
- Expertise in content marketing, PPC and retargeting display advertising, email automation, and personalisation tools.
- Ability to coordinate activity effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of delivering integrated marketing campaigns across all elements of the marketing mix.
- Experience developing multi-channel nurture campaigns and digital journeys.
- Experience in planning and executing thought leadership content programmes.
- Experience with PPC advertising platforms (Google, Bing, LinkedIn).
- Experience integrating AI tools for personalisation, content creation, or performance insights.
- Experience with SEO and SERP optimisation, as well as reporting platforms (Google Analytics, SEMRush, SparkToro).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with CMS / CRM (Optimizely, and Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable).
- Continuous learning mindset with dedicated effort in staying current with marketing tools and technologies including AI, voice of customer, personalised journey mapping, and nurtures.
