Element has an opportunity for a Lab Technician to join our rapidly expanding Connected Technologies business at our state-of-the-art laboratory in Surrey Hills, Guildford. As a member of our Radio Testing team, you will perform a variety of testing assignments to ensure cutting edge consumer electrical devices meet specific radio testing standards and are safe for manufacturers to bring to market. Please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract with a view to going permanent.
- Prepare material specimens for testing
- Operate under the supervision of a more senior test technician and/or a Department Manager
- Gather and record test data
- Construct and maintain various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment
Working knowledge of laboratory safety
0-2 years’ experience in a testing related field
Basic understanding of testing concepts
Possess computer skills.
