Overview
Element has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Test Engineer to join our Oxford facility. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a UK National. You will carry out testing and analysis on Fuel / Structural / Avionics aerospace systems for effects of lightning. You will join a growing specialist team, working for a leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out testing, recording and assessing test data
- Modelling and analysing customer aircraft/systems to advise on lightning protection
- Writing reports on the findings of the test and analysis programmes
- Interacting with customers on technical issues and questions
- Supporting other team members in diverse test programmes
Skills / Qualifications
- Ideally you will be a graduate from the engineering (STEM) sector and are keen to engage with recent Graduates with engineering qualifications (Aviation, Electrical, Systems), but we would also consider candidates with transferable experience from within the Manufacturing or Production sector
- Practical hands-on approach, aptitude for experimental testing and problem solving
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems would be beneficial but not required
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- A Full UK driving licence
- UK national for Security Clearance
