Element has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Operations Coordinator to join the EMEAA HR Shared Services team. This role provides advanced operational support across the employee lifecycle and acts as a subject matter expert for HR transactional processes. The Senior HR Operations Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-quality HR administration and procedural support whilst driving continuous improvement, supporting the implementation of new processes and technologies, and acting as a key escalation point for complex transactional employee lifecycle activities. The role will work closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll and HR Systems to ensure efficient and compliant HR service delivery. The position also plays a key role in supporting the continued growth and maturity of the EMEAA HR Shared Services model by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, standardise processes, enhance service quality, and support operational readiness initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as deputy for the HR Operations Manager when required for operational matters and team coordination activities.
- Supporting the management of end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions including hires, contractual changes, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations.
- Review and process complex HR transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements.
- Prepare confidential and offline employment contracts, offer letters, variation letters, settlement documentation, and other employee correspondence.
- Maintain employee data within Dynamics 365 HR and associated systems, ensuring high levels of data quality and integrity.
- Monitor and support onboarding processes, including right-to-work compliance, background screening, and induction activities.
- Support HRBPs providing guidance to managers and employees on transactional HR processes, policies, and employee lifecycle procedures.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex HR operational queries.
- Support the monitoring and achievement of team SLAs and operational performance metrics and coordinate team Management Information.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
- Contribute to HR knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, process maps, and team documentation.
- Support audit activities and ensure compliance with internal controls, GDPR, and employment legislation requirements.
- Participate in HR transformation initiatives, system enhancements, testing activities, and process redesign projects.
- Support operational readiness activities for new technologies, workflow changes, and service delivery improvements.
- Analyse service delivery data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR Systems and project teams to implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Provide SME guidance and training to support day-to-day performance of HR Operations Coordinators.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
- Share best practice and support knowledge transfer activities across the HR Operations team.
Skills / Qualifications
Essential
- Experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or Shared Services environments.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employment documentation, and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (Dynamics 365 HR preferred).
- Experience working within a service delivery environment with SLA measures.
Desirable
- CIPD qualification.
- Experience supporting HR transformation, change, or process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of UK, Ireland employment practices.
- Experience producing operational reports and analysing HR data.
