Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support for fire resistance tests, including drawing/specification provision, ensuring timely and quality reports.
  2. Check specimen description details provided by clients to ensure completeness for reporting.
  3. Conduct accurate specimen surveys, record details, and verify against client information.
  4. Coordinate with Testing/Technical Officers and clients for information clarification before and after tests.
  5. Create drawings, component schedules, and descriptive documents for test reports.
  6. Use measuring and photographic equipment during surveys.
  7. Utilize CAD and other systems to perform tasks.
  8. Generate documents and visual aids using specialist equipment as needed.
  9. Complete internal systems using FIREMAN software.

Requirements

  • Experienced and confident in AutoCAD.
  • Good education in English and Maths.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in busy environments.
  • Understanding of health & safety.
  • Self-motivated and pride in work quality.
  • Team player, highly organized, able to meet deadlines.
  • Consistently high-quality work.
