The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Exciting and challenging opportunity working in an American multinational chemical company. The accountant will be responsible for the execution of Record to Report ("RTR") EMEA tasks within the Financial Shared Service functions in accordance with the Group Policies, local and US GAAP requirements, agreed service level agreements, and key performance indicators.
The successful candidate will actively participate in the development of the team, helping with possible implementations/system changes, transition of activities, and collaborate in the continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure a streamlined and efficient team over the regional FSS functions.
What will you be doing?
Your tasks will contain the following

Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation and General Ledger accounts analysis

Accounting and handling of Accruals & Provisions and Wages & Salary related accounts

Fixed Asset accounting
-
Participate in closing process (monthly, quarterly, yearly),

Contact with partner departments (AP, AR, PAYMENT)

Contact with local colleagues/departments from different countries
-
Contact with auditors, tax consultants
-
Data providing (Auditors, Statistic Office)
-
Responsible for USGAAP and Local accounting rules

Min 3 years relevant experience in Accounting and bookkeeping
