Element is looking to hire a Project Manager for a fixed term contract of 18 months establishing our New Solutions Development team for our Certification business. You will be responsible for leading the creation and implementation of new products, services, or business solutions. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and project management skills to identify opportunities, develop innovative approaches, and ensure successful delivery. The manager will work with cross-functional teams to bring new solutions to market, driving growth and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Opportunity Identification: Lead on market research direction, analyze customer needs, and identify opportunities for new solutions aligned with business goals.
- Solution Design & Development: Oversee the design, development, and testing of new solutions, ensuring they meet requirements and align with best practices.
- Project Management: Manage all phases of solution development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including sales, marketing, testing, and customer support, to ensure seamless solution development and implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage and communicate with stakeholders throughout the solution development lifecycle, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
- Innovation & Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in solution development processes and technologies.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage the project and facilitate internal resource, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for new solutions, track progress, and report on performance to senior management.
Skills / Qualifications
- A level or equivalent.
- Proven track record in project management experience (min 3-5 years) and creating new solutions, launching them, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of the TIC industry, customer needs analysis, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Able to manage key stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is often preferred.
- Experience in a specific industry or domain may be required.
- Desirable – Prince 2 qualified practitioner.
