Element has an opportunity for a Metallurgy Technician for our testing facility in Middlesbrough. This is a good opportunity to join a leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sample preparation and analysis for metallurgical testing programmes
  • Maintain laboratory safety
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned
  • Contribute to the compilation of technical reports and documentation for project review

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Previous experience is not essential; we are ideally looking for someone who has left school, college or university and is looking at starting their career, this is an ideal entry level role
  • Strong analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of regulations relevant to laboratory testing environments is beneficial but not essential
  • Proficiency in mathematics, including calculations related to measurements and data analysis, is required

Working Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm / Friday 8.30am to 4pm
