Radiographer in Dudley

OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and motivated Radiographer (RT) to join our inspection team supporting the aerospace and casting industries. Candidates must hold a current Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 1 or Level 2 certification in accordance with NAS410 / EN4179 or have equivalent practical experience. You will work within a UKAS and NADCAP‐accredited environment, performing high‐integrity inspections on critical components to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) in line with NAS410 / EN4179 and customer specifications.

Set up, expose and process film and/or digital (DR/CR) radiographs.

Level 2 personnel: interpret radiographs and evaluate results against acceptance criteria; prepare and verify technique sheets.

Level 1 personnel: carry out exposures and assist in image evaluation under Level 2/3 supervision.

Maintain accurate inspection records, traceability documentation and equipment calibration.

Ensure compliance with IRR17 and company radiation protection procedures.

Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Skills / Qualifications

Certified Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 1 or Level 2 to NAS410 / EN4179 (film and/or digital).

Understanding of NDT principles, radiographic techniques and radiation safety.

Strong attention to detail, good record keeping and the ability to follow technical procedures.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.
