Shape the next chapter of Elemed
2026 is proving to be an exciting year for elemed!
More clients, more partnerships, and more opportunities.
To continue this growth, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us and help us to find, engage, and ultimately hire our next top consultants.
We are an 11 year old, self-funded, and 100% privately owned consultancy specialising in the world of Medical Devices, MedTech and BioTech. From artificial hearts to cancer-fighting radiotherapy machines, the people we place change lives.
The Role
As Elemed’s Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be the lead on all hiring across the business. This will range from entry level consultants, through Senior Consultants to Managers, Heads of, and beyond.
You will have autonomy in your approach to how you engage with great people and be encouraged to be as creative as you can in finding different, interesting, new, and ultimately successful ways of getting to know potential hires.
The interview process will be yours to control, working with the various members of the team to make sure that the interview process is a great experience for candidates and colleagues alike - regardless of the end result.
When we have new starters join the business, you will work with the team to make sure that they are set up for success, and that they enjoy their first days and weeks with Elemed.
You will be the face of the Elemed brand in the talent market, taking full advantage of our vast network and social media presence.
You will have ownership of:
- Identifying great people
- Building the elemed brand on our social channels
- Finding novel ways to open conversations with them
- Building and maintaining great relationships with both active and passive candidates, and colleagues
- Keeping track of pipelines for open roles
- Providing hiring updates to the Leadership team
- Managing the interview process
- Supporting the onboarding process and success of new starters
Who we are looking for
There are two different kinds of applicants this role will suit:
- Someone who is currently in a talent acquisition role for a recruitment agency, and wants the opportunity to play a bigger part and have more impact.
- Someone who is currently working in either a 360 or 180 recruitment role and would like to develop into a talent acquisition specialist.
In terms of skills, we think you’ll need:
- Creativity to think differently to find and engage with recruitment specialists
- Resilience to not give up and show consistency in opening doors
- Communication skills to build and maintain great relationships with both active and passive candidates
- Confidence to pre-screen candidates both over the phone, via video calls and in person
- Organisation to make sure both candidates and colleagues have a great experience during the recruitment process
- The ability to try, fail, learn, take on feedback and put it into action.
As for experience, we think you will:
- Be working for a recruitment agency, or have very recently
- Currently be in a candidate facing role, where you communicate with all kinds of candidates on a daily basis
- Have dealt with large numbers of candidates and multiple roles at one time
- Be confident in finding telephone numbers for candidates you have identified, and then calling them - especially those people you are headhunting!
This is an entry/mid level role, ideally suitable for either someone looking to take the next step in a fledgling Talent Acquisition career, or someone who wants to develop into a talent superstar.
You will work closely with our General Manager and be supported in your growth and development every step of the way. We aren’t expecting you to be the finished article, and we’ll take great pride in supporting you to reach your full potential and develop your career.
What you'll get
- Bonus for each successful hire you make
- Private Health and Dental Care
- Hybrid working, with a Central London office
- Company away days and international incentive trips
- An adult, trusting environment with a friendly, supportive and collaborative team
- Significant autonomy to make your own decisions, steer your own career and achieve your own success
- The opportunity to shape the next chapter of an already respected specialist recruitment business and grow with it
If you think that you would be a good fit for the role, please apply or contact our General Manager, Graeme Kear, at graeme@elemed.eu.
