Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The Electrician will carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects, including Solar PV systems and EV chargers. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, installing and testing electrical systems and components, diagnosing faults, and performing corrective actions to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves working closely with engineers and project managers, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety standards, completing documentation, and supporting high-quality customer service on-site.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills and knowledge in electricity and electrical work, including safe installation and operation of electrical systems.
- Experience with maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical installations, including fault finding and system optimization.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles as they apply to building services, Solar PV, and EV charging infrastructure.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., recognized apprenticeship, NVQ/City & Guilds, or equivalent), with up-to-date certification and compliance with local regulations.
- Proven ability to work safely, follow technical drawings and specifications, and comply with health and safety standards and best practices.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a customer-focused, professional approach on-site.
- Previous experience in renewable energy, Solar PV installation, or EV charger installation is highly beneficial.
