Elektra Lighting is a longâestablished (25 years) awardâwinning lighting consultancy based in London, working on hotels, retail, exterior and masterplan projects across Europe, the Middle East and the US.
Role
We are seeking two intermediate lighting designers to join our team in London.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the design team to create innovative lighting schemes across a range of market sectors, largeâscale developments and masterplans.
- Participate in all stages of a project, from initial concept through to completion.
- Prepare detailed lighting drawings, specifications and technical reports.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD proficiently; experience with Revit and other 3D modelling software (including ACC) is a strong advantage.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate and review lighting installations.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Be willing and able to travel internationally when required.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, creative and selfâmotivated individual.
- Experience in lighting design working in a studio environment on commercial projects, ideally hotels.
Conditions
- Fullâtime 35âhour week, Monday to Thursday (Fridays off).
- Inâhouse training programme and team structure to encourage development.
- Hybrid working pattern: fullâtime in the Clerkenwell office for the first few weeks, then a mix of office and home.
- Pension and other benefits.
Dealbreakers
- No current UK work visa.
- Not based in the UK and wish to work entirely remotely.
