You'll work on applications that help manage, test and control complex treatment systems, contributing to software that has a direct impact on patient care.As part of a collaborative Agile team, you'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through to testing, deployment and continuous improvement. You'll also have the opportunity to support Agile delivery practices by helping teams stay focused, remove obstacles and deliver high-quality solutions.Responsibilities:Design, develop and maintain software applications used within radiotherapy treatment systems.Deliver full stack development using C#, .NET, WPF and C++, working across user interfaces, backend services and system integrations.Improve software quality through automated testing, code reviews and continuous integration practices.Support the migration of applications to modern containerised and microservices-based environments.Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver reliable, maintainable and scalable solutions.Contribute to Agile planning, sprint activities and continuous improvement initiatives.Support safety-critical software development activities, ensuring solutions meet quality and regulatory requirements.Share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to a positive engineering culture.What You’ll Bring: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design and the software development lifecycle.Experience with unit testing, automation and CI/CD practices.A collaborative approach and experience working within Agile development teams.Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to delivering high-quality software.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.Experience supporting Agile delivery activities such as sprint planning, backlog refinement or Scrum ceremonies would be beneficial.Experience in regulated industries, embedded systems, conta inerisation or modern cloud technologies would be an advantage.What You’ll Get:In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
