What You’ll Do At Elekta:
- As a Demand Planner, your role is to improve service levels and maintain supply for both service parts and commercial materials globally. This involves managing inventory across over 55 strategic locations, including material in product supply centres, serving over 90 countries with time-critical contracts.
- You will oversee the full supply chain, from new product introductions to optimizing transportation, utilizing quantitative skills and sophisticated forecasting techniques to predict demand and align these projections with sales, marketing, and product insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using data analysis, market trends, and business insights to support commercial and service operations.
- Manage inventory performance across global distribution locations, ensuring optimal stock levels, availability, and inventory turnover.
- Support the design and optimisation of supply chain networks, including warehouse utilisation, distribution strategies, and stocking locations.
- Analyse supply chain performance, monitor KPIs, and provide insights to drive data-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead and support demand planning activities within the S&OP process, collaborating with Sales, Product Management, Procurement, Operations, and IT teams.
- Maintain and enhance planning systems, processes, and forecasting tools while acting as a key supply chain contact for internal stakeholders across regions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree in the following fields is preferred: Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science or Operational Research or equivalent experience.
- Experience within a supply chain, planning, logistics, or operations environment, with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to lead meetings, manage multiple priorities, and build effective relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Experience with reporting tools, data analysis, or programming would be advantageous.
