What You'll Do At Elekta
The Senior Designer is responsible for providing creative design, while maintaining brand standards for global product literature, trade‑show graphics and other marketing and sales collateral.
The selected candidate will manage the global printing process and ensure consistency and professionalism in printed materials.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout of global marketing communications material within the corporate guidelines, including printed sales collateral (brochures, leaflets, case studies, etc.), trade‑show graphics, event graphics, etc.
- Design all corporate ad campaigns and logos, as needed.
- Provide Photoshop imagery for projects, including advanced clipping paths, facial retouching, applying screenshots to computer monitors, up‑resing photos for large‑format printing, etc.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on reproduction and printing processes and manage the entire print process from sending files to the printer through fulfilment set up.
- Assist with design development for sales and corporate presentations (PPT and multimedia).
- Assist with Elekta's internal marketing website, including uploading new collateral and maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Assist with One Doc by uploading design files when a project is complete, and provide second‑tier support to marketing users (first tier is Global Marketing Communications Manager).
- Support regional design requests as time permits.
- What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in creative design working on a Mac platform with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In Design.
- Thorough knowledge of both offset and digital printing processes, including pre‑press, pricing and specialty techniques.
- Motion graphic skills with Adobe Creative software, such as Premiere, After Effects, and DVD compression knowledge a plus.
- Must be able to travel if required (at least 15%).
