The Order Processing & Logistic Specialist is responsible for coordinating import and export shipment with 3PL. He/she has to handle local custom clearance for direct shipments or with 3rd party vendors for custom clearance that are distributor deals. Also, he/she needs to coordinate the projects from factories in UK, Beijing, Europe and U.S. to make the shipments arriving at the sites (hospital) according to the project schedule. The person needs to provide support to Region Asia Pacific including ASEAN, AU/ANZ.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinate import & export shipment
- Liaise with 3rd party vendor for custom clearance
- Project coordination from factories (in UK, BJ, Europe, U.S.) to site (hospital)
- Provide support to Region Asia Pacific
- Identifying improvements in the logistic processes, such as calculating adequate levels of stock, defining optimal transportation routes, etc.
- Developing and improving internal and external processes to meet company objectives.
- Conducting logistic studies to verify financial feasibility of project implementations / alterations, supporting strategic management decisions.
- Responsible for inventory allocation/reconciliation
- Monitoring shipments progress from local and overseas warehouse to customer site
- Coordinate with courier companies
- Work closely with overseas 3PL on a daily basis
- Handle RMA
- Assist on doing monthly shipment reports
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by superior
- Prepare shipping invoices/import/export and banking documents
- Associate degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the logistic field and familiar with local custom clearance process.
- High command in spoken and written English
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Good team player
- Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce/Coupa/M3 ERP system would be an advantage
- Hands-on experience on L/C operations
- Experience in the medical field would be an advantage but not essential
