The Contract Manager is responsible for structuring and administering contractual documents relating to maintenance and support obligations, as well as bundled and stand-alone product agreements. This role works closely with Finance, Sales, Order Fulfilment, and Legal Affairs to negotiate, structure, and administer agreements for purchases and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and review purchase and customer support agreements to ensure compliance with company policies
- Develop options and alternatives for proposals with Sales and Service teams
- Use CLM/quotation systems to ensure compliance with company practices
- Develop an understanding of products and services to support commercial discussions
- Draft amendment documents and coordinate approvals for deviations from standard terms
- Create and process orders for maintenance and support service fees
- Maintain customer files and records related to sales activities
- Input and manage contract data within CLM, ERP, and other business systems
- Negotiate or escalate variations to pricing, terms, and contract structure where appropriate
- Review site-specific data (e.g. buyer details, contingencies, obligations) for orders
- Track and maintain KPIs (including turnaround times) for assigned region(s)
- Gather and process customer order data for management review and approval
